Racial Justice Rising is an activist organization. We use our newsletter to inform subscribers of actions they can take related to our mission, initiated by us, local partners, and other organizations nationwide. We work to end racism and white privilege locally, state-wide, and nationally, through a range of actions from traditional political advocacy to direct action.
“Actions” on this site are calls for action for usually a time sensitive issue which appear in our Action Archive, while others are ongoing for periods of time and only appear here.
Our core ongoing actions are:
- inviting signatures for our Apology for Slavery and Commitment to Restorative Actions;
- requesting comments in support for Reparations;
- participating in a mostly weekly vigil on Greenfield, MA Common from 11 to 12; and
- offering a Reparations Working group.
