“What did you like about the workshop?” …a few responses

Organized, clear, appreciated assumptions instead of guidelines, collective knowledge is an important idea

I appreciate bringing out the fine print of the 13th amendment – prisoners=slaves.

The way Mel rephrases what a person said to both affirm what they expressed & place it in a broader context and weave it into the dynamic of the workshop.

Going to the edge of my imagination around involving the police and alternatives.

Mel modeled the idea of “we’re all learners,” non-defensive, learning model.
